ADEL System introduces the DC-UPS Solar Kit, a solution designed to integrate solar energy into DC power supply and backup systems, ensuring power continuity and extended autonomy even in remote and decentralized applications.
The system combines SOL30, the MPPT solar charge controller, with the CBI6012A and CBI6024A DC-UPS units, creating a coordinated architecture in which photovoltaic energy, batteries, and loads operate together seamlessly.
When solar energy is available, the system prioritizes its use to power the load and recharge the battery, reducing dependence on the electrical grid. The integrated MPPT technology maximizes the energy harvested from the photovoltaic panel, while the integration with ADEL System DC-UPS units enables coordinated charging and battery management.
Through ADELBus communication, SOL30 automatically acquires the battery configuration from the DC-UPS and enables system management and monitoring, providing visibility into key operating parameters, battery status, and alarm conditions.
The solution is particularly suited for applications where power continuity and operational autonomy are essential requirements, including video surveillance, access control, remote monitoring, off-grid installations, and hybrid energy systems.
